Senior Video Editor

👩‍💻 The Role

At Headout, we believe some of the world's most fascinating stories are hidden inside maps, transport systems, landmarks, and cities. As a Senior Video Editor, your job is to help millions of travelers discover and understand them.

You'll create long form and short form travel content that makes exploring the world simpler, whether that's navigating Central Park, understanding the Paris Metro, or finding the right entrance to a museum. You'll own the editing process end to end, combining strong storytelling, motion graphics, and thoughtful pacing to turn complex information into engaging, easy-to-follow videos.

This role is based in Bengaluru. We're looking for candidates who are local or open to relocating.

🤩 What Makes This Role Special?

• Help millions travel better: Your work will simplify travel for audiences around the world, making destinations, transport systems, and attractions easier to understand through engaging visual storytelling.

• Own the creative process: From pacing and structure to motion graphics and final polish, you'll shape every video into an experience that's both informative and enjoyable to watch.

• Build content that gets discovered: Think beyond editing by creating videos that are optimized for search, helping travelers find the answers they're actively looking for.

• Create systems, not just videos: Improve workflows, reusable templates, and editing processes that help the entire team move faster while maintaining quality.

• Collaborate with a high-performing creative team: Partner with producers to experiment with formats, evolve our visual language, and continuously improve the way we tell stories.
